Indiana is also opting to do its own standards, but they aren't ready yet, so that leaves things up in the air for next year. I agree completely that good teaching is good teaching, regardless of whose standards they are. I try to remind myself of this when I get frustrated with all the time and money being wasted in this debate. I think we need more teachers in state legislatures, but we're too busy teaching our students to do it! :)Nancy in Indiananoreply@blogger.com
